The Presence is Decicive: a Meditation. This article reflects the interdependence of past, presence and future in human consciousness. There is an ontological difference between a fixed and unchangeable past on the one hand and the open possibilities of future on the other. Therefore it is the presence that makes the decisions, willing or unwilling. Meeting God here and now through Christ, who is the measure of all time, opens a perspective for the ethical and social dimension of time.
