The Lord’s Supper. The narrations of the New Testament are based on various traditions of the Lord’s Supper. Consistently and historically resilient, they report that a meal has taken place. The custom of the Lord’s Supper feeds itself thereby from many traditions. Further are the scriptures of the New Testament always influenced by the personal interpretation of their authors, which leads to a theological focusing. Besides all the diversity, the soteriological pro-existence of God is the center of every report that results in the salvation of God for mankind.
