Reading with Wonder for True Understanding: The Symbolism of the Biblical Text. The Holy Bible is a book written to be read in faith. This hermeneutic is deeply rooted in Scripture itself: The Bible is a document of faithful reading in itself. The Holy Scripture builds up a series of bridges: from seeing to writing, from writing to reading, from reading to understanding, from understanding to believing, from believing to seeing. It is the Apocalypse of John which connects these bridges to a way of Christian discipleship. The last book of the Bible opens the eyes for essential aspects of Biblical hermeneutic motivated by the biblical texts themselves.
