Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: A Short Biographical Introduction. This article, which is the transcript of a 1984 lecture of Hans Maier, ventures a short biographical introduction to the writings of Teilhard de Chardin. Considering all of the posthumously edited and published oeuvre, and especially the writings connected with the journeys of the paleontologist Teilhard de Chardin, the article presents a condensed picture of his insights for a new cosmological view of evolution.
