Whereof One Cannot Speak Thereof One Must Narrate. On the Narrative Work of Husch Josten. In her six books, Husch Josten combines real political events with fictional, partly absurd stories. They often lead to unexpected drama that makes the beginning comprehensable only from the end. The topic of chance affects many of her characters. In her most recent book, theological issues are discussed by exploring the vita of a man who seeks to cope with his experiences with faith. By means of the narrative, she talks about subjects that can not be theoretically grasped and in this way shows the possibilities of art.
