Zusammenfassung / Abstract
„Giovanni Andrea Rossi: an unknown catacomb researcher at the end of the 16th century“ – Giovanni Andrea Rossi belongs to the inner circle of Antonio Bosio, with whom he explored the catacombs of Rome. He is one of the figures in the study of Christian antiquities at the end of the 16th century. While Bosio and other well-known names are well researched, the role of other people, of whom one knows little more than the name, remains largely unexplored.
