Zusammenfassung / Summary
For quite an amount of time modern researchers argued that the Dominican theologian Melchior Cano (born in 1506/9, died in 1560) - his most famous writing de locis theologicis should certainly be seen as the first fundamental work of modern theology - has kept on writing against the spreading doctrine of the Lutheran theology from the prospect of the catholic counter-reformation and without knowing or viewing the writings of the reformation. The present study will proove that this kind of thesis is definitely not to verify in the loci.
