Was sind religiöse Handlungsgründe?Ein moraltheologischer Blick auf die Motivationsproblematik

Zusammenfassung / Summary

In this article the concept of moral motivation is analysed from the perspective of Christian ethics. In order to avoid the complementary mistakes of rationalism which could be found in Kant’s moral theory and naturalism which is typical for Bernard Williams critique of external reasons a plea is made for a more comprehensive approach which is inspired by J. McDowells’s neoaristotelian effort to overcome the antagonistic relationship between reason and emotion.
