Zusammenfassung / Summary
If the world is entirely dependent on God while God is in no way dependent on the world, how can one still claim that God stands in a real relation towards the world? Would such a relation not also imply some kind of dependence, or at least, changeability? According to Peter Knauer the Christian message itself gives an answer to this question, viewing the world as a secondary end of an inner-divine relation. This contribution carries out a critical assessment of Knauer’s suggested solution.
